Coating and durability

925 silver can oxidize and tarnish over time; this is a natural chemical process. Rhodium plating is frequently applied to improve the shine and resistance to tarnishing of the products. Rhodium plating provides extra shine and protection against tarnishing; the plating can be renewed if needed.
